CCBC AND LOGSTOWN ASSOCIATES HOST 32nd ANNUAL NATIVE AMERICAN GATHERING

The 32nd Annual Native American Gathering, sponsored as an educational event by Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) and Logstown Associates Historical Society, will be held at the Center Township campus’s Dome on Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

This popular community event is an exciting and informative experience featuring music, dancing, exhibits, seminars, food, and craftspeople.  Highlights of this year’s Gathering will include the following:

 

  • Native American Dancing and Etiquette 
  • Dance Competitions
  • Indoor and Outdoor Traders
  • Food Vendors
  • Children’s Craft Area
  • Demonstrations 
  • Iroquois Corn Husk Dolls 
  • Children Dance (Sunday at 12:00 p.m.)
  • Native American Flute Player
  • Logstown Village Diorama
  • Speakers throughout the day

Admission is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for veterans, and $3.00 for children 5-12 years of age. Children under the age of 5 are admitted free of charge.
