The Tutor Center, located in the uper level of the Learning Resources Center, provides one-on-one and group tutorial assistance for students in a variety of subject areas, including Math, Accounting, English, Reading, Science, and Basic Study Skills. In addition, tutors are available to assist with the following:
- Time Management
- Effective Note-taking
- Study Techniques
- Test Preparation
- Reinforcement of class work
- The Writing Process
- Editing Guidance
- The Research Paper (research, organization, documentation)
- Reviewing items missed on exams
- Refreshing topics from previous classes
Tutors are available at no cost for CCBC students only. Additional assistance is available for students with limited English proficiency, upon request.

Brainfuse online tutoring provides a tutoring option for students who are unable to come to the Tutor Center during posted hours. This free service is available 24/7 and can be accessed from home, computers available for student use on campus, and the Learning Lab during tutoring hours.
