SEVEN LOCAL BANDS TO ROCK CCBC'S DOME IN SUPPORT OF COLLEGE'S VETERANS SALUTE BREAKFAST

   Community College of Beaver County is bringing music back to the Dome!  On July 10, local bands will rock the Dome to support veterans and active-duty military members while helping to raise funds for the College’s annual Veterans Salute Breakfast.

    Rockin’ Salute to Veterans features seven local bands: Splendorfield, The Distractions, 50 Caliber Dream, A Taste of Horror, The Troubled Saints, Curse the Sky, and Lil’ Dave & The All Nighters.  The show starts at 5 p.m., with a new band playing each hour.  

The show is open to all ages.  Tickets are $5/each and are available at the door.

SPRING 2011 ATC PROGRAMS

The Air Traffic Control program is now accepting applications for Spring 2011 semester. Please complete the admissions application, the appropriate verification form, and submit the required $500 deposit to CCBC, 1 Campus Drive, Monaca, PA 15061. The $500 deposit is applied to your tuition upon registration. The applications will be processed on a first-come first-served basis.  Please DO NOT apply online for the ATC program.

MEADOWS RACETRACK & CASINO SELECTS COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF BEAVER COUNTY FOR TABLE-GAMES JOB TRAINING

WASHINGTON, Pa.  (Feb. 17, 2010) – Meadows Racetrack & Casino officials today announced they have selected the Community College of Beaver County (CCBC) to help train Meadows employees for jobs involving table-games operations.  Jobs that will require training are: table-games dealers, poker dealers, table-games floor supervisors, poker floor supervisors, table-games shift managers, poker room shift managers.
