Program Information
Upon successful completion of the Healthcare Administration: Patient Care Pathway Associate of Science degree, the graduate will have gained clinical and administrative health care related skills essential for work in a medical office. This program prepares students to work as office managers and health care technicians in medical offices, clinics, or hospital outpatient services.
What Will You Learn
In the Patient Care Track of the Healthcare Administration degree program, students gain a blend of administrative knowledge and hands-on clinical experience. Alongside instruction in medical billing, medical terminology, confidentiality, ethics, leadership, and professionalism, students build practical skills in patient care. This includes training in patient care & phlebotomy techniques. The program also includes an internship to ensure students are well-prepared for both front-and back-office responsibilities in healthcare settings.
