At CCBC’s Business Academy, you will discover how innovation, strategy, and leadership drive success in today’s global marketplace. From entrepreneurship and marketing to finance and management, this program opens doors to diverse career paths that power the economy.
Through engaging classroom instruction, collaborative projects, and hands-on learning experiences, you will develop the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic world of business. Guided by experienced faculty with industry expertise, you will complete foundational business courses during your first year and choose from specialized electives in your second year. Depending on your course selections, you may also earn a micro credential, giving you a competitive edge as you pursue your academic and career goals.
As a Business Academy student, you will have the opportunity to earn up to 25 college credits while still in high school, providing a solid foundation for success in college and your future career.

We are currently offering the Business Academy courses in a flexible model. Students can choose to either attend in person at a specified location or attend class online live each day from school or home. Our in-person site is as follows:
CCBC Main Campus- 1 Campus Drive, Monaca, PA 15061
Students in the Business Academy will:
- Acquire foundational knowledge and skills in business-related career pathways
- Identify and pursue individualized pathways to enhance readiness for future academic or career goals
- Develop professional and academic skills necessary for success in business and related careers
- Have an opportunity to matriculate to CCBC post high school to complete an associate degree and transfer to a premier partner four-year institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree
REQUIREMENTS
- Students may enroll in their junior or senior year
- Minimum 3.0 high school GPA
- B or higher in all high school English courses
- B or higher in high school Algebra II, Pre-Calc, or Calculus
- Recommendation from principal or school counselor
- Exhibit good attendance and conduct
