Paying for College
One of the biggest challenges facing potential college students and their parents is how to apply and receive financial aid to help supplement higher education costs. CCBC encourages all of our students to apply for finanical aid.
Our Financial Services Department is committed to guiding you through the process of understanding how to pay for your education here at CCBC.
The first step in applying for aid including both grants (free money) or student loans is to Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our Federal School Code is 006807-00. If you are planning to begin taking classes in the Spring 2019 you will need to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA. If your are planning to attend in the Fall 2019 you will need to complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA. Students must complete the FAFSA each year they wish to apply for aid.
Once you have completed the FAFSA and you need additional aid you may need to Apply for a Student Loan.
We also encourage all students to apply for Scholarships. Information regarding scholasrhips can be found under the scholarships tab.
If you need assistance in applying for aid please contact the Financial Aid Office at 724-480-3501.
