The Community College of Beaver County operates as an open-door admissions institution providing educational opportunities to all individuals who can benefit from such an experience.

The College grants general admission to anyone who wishes to begin college studies. However, certain majors have special admissions requirements that must be met before the College grants acceptance into the program. Work with your high school/college to submit test scores, transcripts, or course approval forms.

Your advisor will assist student records to register you for your courses and provide a tech guide for your needs.

High School Student 

You are a high school student if you are still in high school or home school and want to take college-level courses at CCBC through our College Here & Now High School Pathways.

New Student 

You are a new student if you have never attended college, OR are applying to attend after completing high school or GED®, OR all your college credits were earned prior to high school graduation (or equivalent).

Transfer Student 

You are a transfer student if you have taken any college-level coursework at a regionally accredited college after high school graduation or GED® completion.

Visiting Student 

You are a visiting student if you are enrolled at another college (home institution) and are interested in taking classes at CCBC to earn credit that will be transferred back to your home institution. 

Military Student 

CCBC is a “Best for Vets” college by Military Times with tuition benefits for active-duty military, veterans, and their dependents. Let us help you maximize your benefits and guide you through the admission process.

International Student 

You are an international student if you are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. CCBC has over 50 approved programs of study for international students!

Adult Student 

You are an adult student if you are beginning or returning to college after some time away from high school, OR you’ve previously taken college classes and are coming back to restart or finish your degree, OR you’re starting college for the first time as an adult while balancing work, family, or other commitments.
